Texas Homes and Hockey

This site is still under development but rest assured, it is active. Most likely you found this page by clicking on a QR Code from a hockey game where I was live streaming my son’s games.

As we have seen over the past 2-3 years, Texas is a popular place. Thousands of individuals and families have relocated to Texas since 2020. Everybody has had their reasons but if you are looking to make the move and you have a son or daughter who plays hockey and are concerned about their opportunity to be able to continue playing hockey at any level, rest assured: there is hockey in Texas!

Dallas is home to the NHL’s Dallas Stars, the Texas Stars of the AHL, the Allen Americans of the ECHL and the Lone Star Brahmas of the NAHL. Texas is also home to the Southern Division of the NAHL with teams all across the state including one team in Shreveport.

You will also find no less than 25 High School Hockey teams and at least a dozen Tier II hockey clubs and Dallas is also home to the Tier 1 AAA Dallas Stars Elites, the only AAA team currently in the State of Texas. If you are looking to make the move to Texas and have a hockey player in your family, there is opportunity aplenty!
